About
This website is part of the University of Dundee’s Virtual Anatomy Project 2023-2024. This is an extracurricular project that connects students from various academic backgrounds. The students work together to create virtual anatomy resources. For this resource, the students came from many multidisciplinary areas such as medical art, animation, engineering, and medicine.
This website is the visual outcome of the group working on teaching students about Parkinson’s Disease. The resource was created with the goal of educating medical students about the science and diagnosis of Parkinson’s in patients. The resource includes various visual aids, medical descriptions, and unique tech features to help create an engaging e-learning guide. It is important that medical professionals are aware of the signs and diagnostic procedures of Parkinson’s so they can best treat their patients. This resource aims to target medical students so they have early exposure to such techniques.
Several months were spent brainstorming and fulfilling the team’s goals for this project. This unique opportunity fostered collaborative development, goal-oriented creativity, and an opportunity to create a resource that can help improve medical education for students.
